The Caltech Ballroom Dance Club aims to promote the growth of dancing at Caltech. We want to build an energetic and viable dance community on campus, and hope that you will join us! As a first step, sign up for our mailing lists to stay updated on what's happening.
In addition to our classes on many ballroom and social styles, we also host many special workshops and fun parties, as well as organizing trips to nearby events. We also have a competitive ballroom dance team that travels to regional ballroom dance competitions.

Jay will discuss the techniques and tricks that allow you to dance Viennese Waltz in a relaxed and less-tiring manner, and without compromising frame. Two-time National Collegiate Champion Kelly Hewitt will be teaching a workshop on Paso Doble. This dramatic dance resembles flamenco with the leader portraying a matador and the follower portraying his cape or shadow. Kelly will be teaching the choreography, technique, and styling.
