The Caltech Ballroom Dance Club aims to promote the growth of dancing at Caltech. We want to build an energetic and viable dance community on campus, and hope that you will join us! As a first step, sign up for our mailing lists to stay updated on what's happening.
In addition to our classes on many ballroom and social styles, we also host many special workshops and fun parties, as well as organizing trips to nearby events. We also have a competitive ballroom dance team that travels to regional ballroom dance competitions.

Come enjoy a night of social dancing to finish off the term and celebrate the end of finals. Start off the night with a free introductory cha-cha lesson. This 6 week Intermediate Series will place a strong emphasis on essential positions and "Feel Good Combinations" in both Close and Open Embrace creating comfort, clarity and confidence with just about anyone. Each class will include technique exercises and drills creating awareness of body mechanics, musicality and alignment. This course will help you develop fluidity within transitions, contrast through linear and circular movements and texture by applying musical concepts.

This 4 week series class will take your basic West Coast Swing to the next level. We will introduce new intermediate level patterns, leads, follows, timing, and technique.
